Canoeing in the Tarn valley

A 14km course in the Tarn valley between Trébas and Ambialet. A nice walk on the water (not too sporty) to discover the meanders of the Tarn. Navigable from spring to autumn, the Tarn allows hiking with family or friends. A constant flow of 8 to 10m / s is maintained even during periods of great drought. The practice of canoeing is for everyone, perfectly adapted to the capacities of each one and inevitably provides true, interior emotions. It's the way to contemplate landscapes from another angle, to discover and flush out animals around a bend - dragonflies, herons, mallards, moorhens, or simply paddle among the fish. The upper Tarn valley has its grandiose and picturesque treasures for those looking for the charm of relaxing and bucolic walks. Canoeing is a sport that thrives on ecology, respect and protection of the environment.
